Accounting Officer (Real Estate Experience Preferred):
Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Leverage your real estate experience to seamlessly integrate with industry-specific processes.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Support Accounting Managers, Director of Property Accounting and CFO with special projects and workflow process improvements
Accounting support for accounting managers for multiple entities
Involved within a full scope of transaction activities including full cycle accounting
Participate in the implementation of fund structures onto the accounting system
Prepare and analyze complex Excel spreadsheets
General accounting duties including GL, AR/AP, and financial reporting for real estate properties
Ensures that all Equity Accounting Policies are implemented and all entities are in compliance
Insures that all accounting is in compliance with applicable joint venture or fee agreements
Interpret documents and ensure the implementation of new and/or revised Accounting Standards as applicable to the company
Recording daily remittances from servicer in Great Plains accounting system and monthly reports to lenders and partners
